Doris Lusk, a talented artist from Dunedin (1916-1990), was a New Zealand painter, potter, art teacher, and university lecturer who studied at the Dunedin School of Art. In 1966, she became a tutor at the Canterbury School of Fine Arts and later held a lectureship in painting until her retirement in 1981.

In 1990 she was posthumously awarded the Governor General Art Award in recognition of her artistic career and contributions.

She was also a member of The Group, which was an informal but influential art association formed in Christchurch, NZ in 1927, and exhibited regularly.
