Our Story

Look NZ was founded by Wānaka-based art collector Jan McPhedran, who wanted to share her passion for art with more people. She saw that original artworks could be out of reach for many, and created Look NZ as a place where everyone could enjoy art and bring it into their homes, whatever their style or budget.

What began with a love of collecting and a desire to support New Zealand artists has grown into a curated online collection of original artworks, fine art prints, books and other artful pieces from artists across Aotearoa.
