Helen Dean

Helen Dean creates beautiful and captivating artwork from her home studio in Titirangi, West Auckland. She pays special attention to colour, often exploring muted pastels with inky darks and bold saturation. Soft shapes float across a multi-layered surface. Interconnecting pockets of colour with subtle differences in tone and a history of marks below the surface create depth and texture. 

Her journey spans from the UK to New Zealand. With a Fine Arts degree, she's been painting since 2016, creating captivating series and bespoke pieces.
