Jane Crisp

Jane Crisp's art is deeply rooted in her love for the natural world, which she explores from her rural home in Waikato since the 1990s. Self-taught, she has painted professionally for over a decade, showcasing her work in numerous exhibitions and earning awards such as the James Chapman Award. Inspired by wildlife, especially birds, which frequent her garden near native bush, Crisp finds joy in capturing their essence without urban distractions. Her artistic journey continues to excite her as she explores new horizons in her work.
