Holly Roach

Holly, an artist from Canada now based in Auckland, blends different art forms in her work. Trained in art and illustration at Sheridan College, she later gained a certificate in Fabric Design and Print from AUT in Auckland.

Her art draws inspiration from geometric elements and patterns explored in fabric design and screen printing. As a freelance editorial illustrator, she also designs and screen prints textiles for unique projects.

Holly's creative practice is a dynamic mix, influenced by her diverse art studies. Play is a major inspiration for her. Recently, she explored experimental landscape painting, using an abstract approach to capture memories of places and times. This allows her to paint the short stories that shape her life on vibrant canvases.
