Rita Angus Prints

Rita Angus (1908–1970) was one of New Zealand’s most celebrated artists, known for her distinctive portraits, self-portraits, landscapes and still-life paintings. A leading figure in New Zealand modernism, Angus developed a highly individual style characterised by strong composition, clarity and a distinctive use of colour.

This collection features prints of Rita Angus’s celebrated works, including Central Otago, Schoolgirl, Rutu 1951, The Aviatrix, Tree, Cleopatra and Self Portrait, Smoking.
